CATESBY FIRST FOR INDUSTRIAL MARKET

Catesby Property Group, the Midlands-based land regeneration and Development Company, has announced the completion of its first industrial venture in Birmingham.

‘Vantage Point’ at Fort Parkway is the location of two new distribution units completed by the private property company. It offers a combined space of over 100, 000 sq ft (9290.304sq m) neighbouring the Birmingham landmark Fort Dunlop.

The project, which took just 9 months to build, was constructed to a high specification with 10m internal height, dock leveller/level access doors and 1,000 lbs floor loading weight whilst offering a robust modern exterior design.

Unit 1 is 51,021 sq ft and Unit 2 is 65,348 sq ft. Both sites offer fully fitted offices, self contained facilities, concrete service yards and 77 car parking spaces each.

Lee Barrett, development director at Catesby, said the two units were already in demand.

“The industrial and distribution sector in the Midlands is going from strength to strength and ongoing warehousing requirements provided an excellent opportunity for Catesby.

“Demand is strong and we have every confidence that the interest in Unit 1 will come to fruition in the near future. With the benefit of quick and easy access to the motorway and ample production space, Vantage Point offers a great location for occupier’s needs.”

The Fort Parkway, located opposite Fort Dunlop, has already attracted major names such as Goodyear Dunlop, HMV, Hays, Lynx Express, iForce, Trinity Mirror and Stadco.

Both units are immediately available on a freehold or leasehold basis. Letting agents for Vantage Point are GVA Grimley and King Sturge.
